The periodic table of elements is a table that contains the known chemical elements. The elements are arranged in the periodic table according to their atomic numbers (the number of protons in the atom). Various of these elements will be encountered when purifying, for example, gas, air or liquid. A number of these elements often have to be removed because of regulations, safety or to obtain a higher purity level.
1869 is seen as the year in which the periodic table originated (there did exist earlier versions), it was published that year by Dmitri Mendeleev. In over the years the table has been supplemented with various elements, up to the version that is being used by us about 150 years later.
We have a tool at our purification technology website that shows the periodic table and a short description of all elements. To have basic knowledge of elements is always useful when selecting the right purification technique. Find below the direct link to the tool;

The tool provides very brief information on the various elements of the periodic table. Should there be more information needed about the technique to purify then one can also directly go to this tool, the purification technology selection tool. We hope that you enjoy working with this new tool.
